The femoral triangle contains the femoral artery, vein and nerve.
The " femoral " part supplies skin to the femoral triangle area.
It forms the medial wall of the femoral triangle.
An anatomical significance of the sartorius muscle is that it forms one of the boundaries of the femoral triangle along with the inguinal ligament and the adductor longus muscle.
They are found in the triangle bounded by the inguinal ligament superiorly, the border of the sartorius muscle laterally, and the adductor longus muscle medially . ( Femoral Triangle of Scarpa)
